2AM, Time for Confession

Hello guys. I’m back with a new song from the 2AM (dont be confused with 2PM, since they are different boy band even though they’re both under JYP Entertainment management). The four guys of JYP (Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Changmin) now come for their second album titled “Time for Confession” with the hit of “A Confession of A Friend” which is written 친구의 고백 in Korean.

This song is a type of ballad song, the one that’s kinda slow and one sort of sad songs. This song is about a boy who has his best female friend. He’s been sad for a long time seeing his best friend being hurt, when he cannot do anything about it. He feels it’s going to be much better if he can protect the girl by himself rather than letting her boyfriend hurting him every time.

He then confesses his feeling to that girl, saying that he loves her and asks her to be his lady. He’s been hiding his feeling for so long, stood without doing anything every time her boyfriend hurting her. He confesses every feeling that he has.

The girl, however, says that having him as her best friend is the best thing in the world. She doesn’t want to change it, and therefore it implies that she rejects his love. That really hurts his feeling, since he has to keeps his love to her.

What a sad song. Hope none of you guys have this kind of experience.
