Korea “Fall Picnic” Vocabulary


Good morning my friends…after a while staying in my room, being quarantined because of Swine Flu, now the part of me wants to write again. After a couple of weeks I didn’t write anything, I’ll be posting again. Now, it’s time for some “Korean” friends.

간식 : snack, light meal
부침개 : pan-fried food
: a tangerine
고구마 : sweet potato
과일 : frui

열대 과일 : tropical fruit
과자 : cookies
: persimmon
은행나무 : ginkgo tree
: chewing gum

만두 : dumpling
식빵 : a loaf of bread
채소 : vegetables
설탕 : sugar
사탕 : candy

나비 : butterfly
: bee
사진 : photos, photograph, picture
뜨겁다 : be hot
싱싱하다 : be fresh

메뉴 : menu
목 마르다 : be thirsty
배 부르다 : be full (after eating)
배 고프다 : be hungry
숟가락 : spoon

젓가락 : chopstick
수저 : spoon and chopstick
접시 : a plate, dish
국물 : soup
냄비 : a pot

요리하다 : to cook
단풍 : maple
국화 : chrysanthemum (tree)
향기 : fragrance
종류 : types, kinds
